5 Wishes Workshop
March 1 | 12:00

No one likes to discuss what our wishes might be at the end of life or maybe you haven't even given it much thought, but what a gift we give our loved ones when these wishes are already taken care of.  Five Wishes is a legal document that helps family members talk with each other about this difficult subject and gives them peace of mind that comes with knowing what their loved ones want and expect from them if they become ill.  What makes this a bit easier is that Five Wishes does the thinking for you by giving you a checklist of ideas to discuss, including personal, emotional, and spiritual wishes. Lunch and all workshop materials will be provided; the cost to register for this workshop is $10.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner!

Tuesday February 25 | 5-8 pm

It's Shrove Tuesday, a day of forgiveness and feasting on pancakes. The Christian tradition takes place on a different date each year, depending on when Easter falls. Its origins can be traced back centuries: "shrive" is an archaic verb that means to hear a confession. Those confessions were then followed by a feast before the start of Lent — the six-week period of fasting and abstaining that leads up to Easter.

Join the Student Life Ministry for this one-of-a-kind feast! Cost is $5 for an individual or $20 per family. This pancake dinner will support the High School Dominican Republic Mission Trip. Dinner includes pancakes with all the toppings, bacon, coffee/juice/tea.  Families can eat at the church or take it to go.
